Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our growing team. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing our Android app from scratch, ensuring seamless integration with our fully functional web application. The ideal candidate should have experience in app development, documentation, mentoring junior team members, and publishing apps on the Google Play Store. You will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end Android app lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in enhancing our online visibility through SEO, creating high-quality content, and assisting in basic web design tasks. You will collaborate with our marketing and design teams to implement strategies that attract and engage our target audience, ultimately driving lead generation and brand growth.

  • Develop Android Apps from Scratch Build a high-quality Android application aligned with our web app, including designing and implementing features, user interface, and seamless performance.
  • App Documentation Create comprehensive documentation for all stages of app development, from initial design through deployment and updates.
  • Mentor Junior DevelopersProvide guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring coding standards and best practices are followed.
  • Publishing on Play Store Handle the entire Play Store publishing process, including compliance with Google’s app policies, managing app versions, and optimization for search visibility.
  • Testing and DebuggingConduct testing to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and compatibility issues, ensuring a robust and bug-free product.
  • Android Licensing and ComplianceEnsure the app adheres to Android licensing requirements and industry best practices, including security, privacy, and data protection standards.
  • Integration with Web App Collaborate closely with the backend team to ensure smooth integration of Android app features with our existing web platform.
  • Maintain Code QualityFollow coding standards and design patterns, writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Keep Up with Latest Trends Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, technologies, and tools, ensuring the app remains modern and competitive.

Requirements

Experience

  • 2-4 years of professional Android app development experience.
  • Strong experience in developing Android applications from scratch.
  • Proven experience in publishing and managing apps on Google Play Store.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.
  • Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Components, and Android Studio.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and databases (SQLite, Room).
  • Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Hands on experience in Figma or similar designing tool.

Other Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Average communication.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills.
